Fantastic Stay in a Cozy Hotel

I appreciated the hotel's proximity to the bus stop. It made traveling to the train station easy. The hotel's location right on the canal was lovely. I found it easy to explore the city. The room was cozy, and the bed was comfortable. The pillows were good too!
The window in my room did not shut properly, and cold air came in along with the noise, so I needed earplugs to sleep.

The lounge had a cute vibe, and I really appreciated the board games and travel guides. Coffee, tea, and treats were always available, a very thoughtful touch. There were large windows with wonderful views.

the hotel is super close to a bus stop!!! it made getting to the train station easy!!! there's free coffee in the lounge from a fancy espresso machine!!! plus, a yummy assortment of teas are always available. i loved the thoughtful touch of having board games, travel guides, coffee, tea, and snacks always out.
the window in my room didn't seem to shut properly. cold air came in, and i heard lots of outside noise. i had to sleep with earplugs.

It is in a quiet area close to museums. There were many amenities, including a coffee station with lemon mint water (I loved the lemon mint water!). Checkout included a goodie bag for my flight.
The room I had was small. I could not upgrade to a bigger room. There was no option for late check out.

the staff was so friendly. they had much knowledge of the area. they were always happy to advise on any questions. the coffee area downstairs was great, and it had many options to go with your pastries, and it was all free.
the wine glasses was greasy and had marks on them. i also got food poisoning at serre restaurant. i ate some meat and felt very sick shortly after. this tarnished the stay for me.
